Disclaimer

Well, something must have frozen over because we finally have a blog! (Is it getting colder- No, Mr. Gore, I'm not talking about global warming.) Can viewers believe their own eyes? (Try blinking a couple times just to be sure!) I've set up a family blog. (I think that I must be one of the least techno-lit gen-Xers . No need to worry about a take over from me, Mr. Gates!)

For those who are looking for a hair raising, toe twitching, bladder busting experience you might want to continue searching the black hole time vacuum that is the World Wide Web. Further more, as a visual person that tried to keep a diary in her youth, but only wrote an entire 2 lines worth, this will be the most text that you will likely get out of me and it is not Pulitzer quality for sure! So here we are the good, the bad, and the ugly...
(I'll let you decide who is who)

Life of Late

Since I last posted photos, we have moved from Wisconsin to Missouri. I FINALLY feel like we are settling in; we still have lots of boxes to unpack, but at least we aren't dodging around them all the time. Here are some photos of what we have been doing lately. (The most recent are first.)

We moved here July 6th, and since that time Tom has been gone 2 weeks traveling for work; he has been to Canada, Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota. The 2nd picture in this slide show is of the gang greeting Tom shortly after a return from his travels.

We braved the heat and humidity and attended the county fair which happens to be just up the road from our house. Fun was had by all!

Near Tom's office is Faust Park, and in this park is a conservatory called the Butterfly House, a branch of the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The Butterfly House is filled with so many butterflies it looks as if the leaves of the plants are moving. (Next time I'll get photos of the Butterfly House.) Faust Park is very nice too!

Missouri welcomed us with steamy warm weather with temps in the 100s. I call it the Swamp or when I'm in a good mood the Sauna. (I always wanted a sauna, but this is not exactly what I had in mind.)

Photos from our "pre-moving" trip to Wisconsin Dells and MT Olympus; both the boys decided that they are "allergic" to swimming during this trip, even Atlee who was up to this moment a little water bug!!! :(

Atlee sporting the shoes both his cousin Culley and Aldan wore.

Hope Aldan is adjusting better to his new home.
